Hurricane "Lee"

There are sunsets, and then there are sunsets! It wasn't quite the windy storm conditions predicted, as most of the time it never is, but also not predicted, was the incredible colors that floated over the island as the sun began to set. Warm weather, and protection provided by the dunes, allowed for an up close experience by this curious islander. It was a bit scary as the waves crashed down, not gonna lie, but it was a night that will not be forgotten any time soon. Click on the photo grid to view the photos individually.
